2. Data collected

2.1 Website visitors

No personal data is collected when simply browsing the website. No tracking or analytics cookies are used.

2.2 Foro app users

When creating an account and using the application, we collect:

• Identification data: email address, display name (optional).
• Geolocation data: GPS position used in real time to trigger content at the right location. Your position is neither stored nor shared with third parties.
• Usage data: completed routes, progress, reviews and ratings.
• Payment data: transactions are processed by Apple (In-App Purchase) via RevenueCat. We do not store any banking information.

2.3 Partners (creator space)

Partners (tourism offices, cultural sites) provide:

• Organization name and contact details.
• Guide content (text, images, videos, audio files).

3. Purpose of processing

• Provide and improve the service (geolocated routes, account management).
• Trigger content at the right location using geolocation.
• Manage guide purchases and partner subscriptions.
• Produce anonymized visitor statistics for partners.
• Respond to contact requests.

4. Legal basis

• Consent: for geolocation (iOS system permission).
• Performance of contract: for account creation, purchases, and guide access.
• Legitimate interest: for anonymized statistics and service improvement.

5. Hosting and processors

Data is hosted by:

• Supabase (database, authentication) — servers in the European Union (Stockholm, Sweden).
• Vercel (website hosting) — global CDN network.
• RevenueCat (in-app purchase management) — United States, compliant with EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Resend (transactional emails) — United States, compliant with EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data retention

• Account data: retained as long as the account is active, then deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
• Geolocation data: not stored (used in real time only).
• Partner statistics: retained in anonymized form indefinitely.
• Billing data: retained for 10 years (legal requirement).

7. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right to access, rectify, and delete your data.
• Right to data portability.
• Right to object to and restrict processing.
• Right to withdraw your consent at any time (geolocation).

Delete your account

You can delete your account at any time directly from the Foro app: go to your Profile page, then tap “Delete my account”. Deletion is immediate and results in the permanent erasure of all your personal data within 30 days. You may also request deletion by email at samy@umanodesign.studio.

You may also file a complaint with the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

The foro.guide website does not use any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies (creator space session) may be used.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last modification is shown at the top of this page. In the event of a substantial change, app users will be notified.
